Anodised black billet aluminum base pads that allow less fumbles, easier insertion allowing faster reloads, easier withdrawal from magazine holders and smoother magazine drops because of the extra weight. Oh, and they also look really cool!
When combined with a little practice, they will make your reloads more efficient and consistent. They are shaped to make your magazines easier to grab, easier to strip from the gun, and the added weight makes the magazine drop free more easily, especially when empty. When used with an aftermarket magwell, the Unfair Advantage Base Pad allows you to slam the mag in with less effort. Photos below show the BasePad with popular magwells from Taran Tactical and Salient Arms. They also work well with the Kriss Vector, which uses 9mm Glock mags.
