Instructions and Exercises:
Place the small end of the call in your mouth with the reed facing up. Be sure that the o-ring is all the way against the body of the call. Raise the pitch of the sound by sliding your lip toward the tip of the call. Lower the pitch by moving your lip back toward the 0-ring
Cow in Heat Call: Place the reed end of the call in your mouth. Position your lip about halfway up the reed. With light to moderate air pressure, blow a long breath of air into the call. This is a long, mournful call. You can slide your lip toward the o-ring to lower the pitch of the call, adding realism to you calling. After calling wait 15-20 minutes before calling again, giving the moose plenty of time to respond. This is the primary call to use to attract bull moose.
Bull Call: These calls are best made with your own voice. A bull call is much like the sound you would make if grunting while lifting a heavy object. It would sound something like, "Wha". . . . . . . "Wha". . . . . . .
