Well-suited to survival and other demanding applications, the SEAL Pup Elite Knife from SOG features a 4.85" AUS-8 stainless steel blade with a thickness of 0.185" for durability and strength. It has a hardcase black TiNI finish and the clip point blade is partially serrated. Also, the spine has a rasp for notching, filing, and thumb placement. Additionally, the blade goes through a cryogenic heat treatment process that increases the toughness and wear-resistance for an edge that stays sharp longer, and decreases the instances of micro-fracturing and edge-chipping.
The handle of the SEAL Pup Elite is made of glass-reinforced nylon for durability and it features deep finger grooves as well as scored grip lines for a better feel in the hand. Included with the knife are a lanyard and a ballistic nylon sheath. The sheath features a MOLLE attachment system for versatility and has hook-and-loop fasteners for closure.
